「Global Talents Job Fair」Seeks Top Talents Across All Industries! Aiming for Global Impact: Explore Hundreds of Career Opportunities
【New Taipei City】The New Taipei City Government is delighted to announce the opening of recruitment for the "Global Talents Job Fair." As Taiwan's industries expand, there is a growing need for skilled professionals in fields such as information technology, smart machinery, and green energy. To address this demand, the Economic Development Department of New Taipei City Government will host the "Global Talents recruitment Fair" on September 20, 2024, at the PengYuan Banquet Hall (Xinban). The event will feature 26 leading companies offering numerous job opportunities. International talents and professionals are encouraged to take advantage of this excellent opportunity to advance their careers and connect with the global job market.
The Economic Development Department indicates that starting from 2023, New Taipei City has established the "Enterprise Talent Matching Platform" to create new opportunities for companies to find high-caliber industry professionals. This platform has successfully matched companies such as C SUN and SKODA and other information and communication technology and smart machinery sectors, effectively connecting with high-quality talents from various educational institutions. This year (2024), the platform has been upgraded to facilitate matching between companies and international talents through one-on-one professional interactions, enabling international professionals to directly contribute to enterprise development and international market expansion.
The Economic Development Department explains that this recruitment fair will feature 26 New Taipei City companies actively seeking to expand into Southeast Asia and the Indian market. These include well-known firms such as ATEN, Asia Vital Components Co.,Ltd., and Pailung Machinery Mill Co., Ltd. The event will offer hundreds of job openings across various industries, including electronics, information and communication technology, and green energy. Positions available include R&D engineers, IT engineers, international sales representatives, and overseas management trainees.
In response to the rapid rise of emerging markets in ASEAN and South Asia, the Economic Development Department sincerely invites international professionals from Southeast Asian countries such as India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam to participate. The Economic Development Department emphasizes that both foreign talents with multicultural backgrounds and multilingual skills, as well as Taiwanese professionals proficient in international trade markets, can take part in this event to have one-on-one interviews with businesses in New Taipei City and find opportunities to advance your career.
The Economic Development Department states that, in addition to recruiting international talents for companies, the event will also feature booths from central government such as the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Labor, National Development Council, Ministry of Economic Affairs, and Overseas Community Affairs Council will set up booths to provide consultation services. A series of career workshops, including topics such as tips & tricks to get hired in Taiwan, deeper understanding of Taiwanese hiring culture, and working experiences in Taiwan will be held in the afternoon. A special guest, Huang, an Indonesian student who graduated from National Taiwan University's Department of Agronomy, will also share his experiences. After graduation, Huang worked as a business analyst at Tsai Tung Agriculture and, through self-study, transitioned to roles as a backend engineer and product manager. During the event, he will discuss the advantages of developing a career in Taiwan and offer insights into job searching in the local market, helping other international professionals with similar backgrounds understand Taiwan’s corporate culture and work practices.
