The 2018 New Taipei City North Coast Intenational Kite Festival will be on 9/30 in the Baishawan Beach in Shimen District. From 2000 to 2018, the Kite Festival was held for 19 years. The kite festival is combines art, education, and sport. This year’s theme is the Shimen Rice Dumpling Kite, welcome America, Japan, Germany, Thailand and China kite flyers to join the activity and enjoy the scenery in the northen coast.
