The Only Representative from Taiwan’s Six Municipalities! New Taipei Leads 20 Companies to HANNOVER MESSE 2025 Deputy Mayor Chen Chun-Ching: Strengthening the Smart Industry Supply Chain and Seizing

As the only representative among Taiwan’s six special municipalities, New Taipei City Government has led a delegation of 20 companies to debut at the world’s premier industrial technology exhibition—HANNOVER MESSE 2025. Amid the global wave of smart technology, this marks a major milestone as the delegation showcases Taiwan’s latest innovations in smart manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things), while actively seeking cooperation opportunities with European markets and tapping into the booming smart industry in the region.

This year, New Taipei has established its own themed exhibition area, the “New Taipei Pavilion,” where it presents cutting-edge technologies from Taiwan’s smart manufacturing sector to a global audience of industry professionals. The pavilion has drawn significant attention from international buyers and industry stakeholders. The vibrant atmosphere within the exhibition area reflects strong interest in potential collaborations and underscores the global appeal of New Taipei’s technology sector.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Mayor Chen Chun-Ching emphasized that HANNOVER MESSE is not only a barometer for global industrial technology trends but also a vital platform for companies to access the international smart technology market. This year’s event has attracted over 3,700 exhibitors from 75 countries, with more than 130,000 visitors attending—highlighting the exhibition’s influence on the global tech landscape. Deputy Mayor Chen noted that New Taipei’s participation demonstrates the city’s innovative capabilities and offers a golden opportunity to expand its presence in the international industrial value chain. Through engagement with global industry leaders, New Taipei aims to foster deeper cooperation, embrace the twin transitions of smart manufacturing and net-zero goals, and accelerate its industrial growth.

Director-General Sheng Hsiao-Jung of the Economic Development Department stated that all participating companies in the “New Taipei Pavilion” are pioneers in smart transformation across various sectors. Their exhibits showcase New Taipei’s exceptional technological capabilities in smart manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and AIoT. For example:
Preen features high-precision power supplies for renewable energy testing.
Ching Yuang Enterprise displays energy-saving LED balloon lighting solutions.
EVERBIZ INDUSTRIAL presents AIoT-enabled wire harness optimization for smart factories.
SPIDER INDUSTRIAL showcases extrusion technology for cable and automotive manufacturing.

These innovations effectively demonstrate the international competitiveness of New Taipei’s industries.
Additionally, Mr. Lai, General Manager of Duplex Technology, noted that the “New Taipei Pavilion” enjoys a prime location near industry giants such as Siemens, further enhancing its visibility. Mr. Chen, Manager of Chang Da Precision Industry, expressed optimism, stating that the pavilion has already secured multiple orders within the first morning of the exhibition and expects fruitful results during the remaining five days of the event.

The Economic Development Department further explained that beyond organizing the “New Taipei Pavilion,” the delegation is also taking advantage of opportunities to engage in technological exchanges with global leaders. These include:
Siemens (automation technology),
Festo (industrial automation),
Bosch Rexroth (drive and control technologies),
Amazon Web Services (AWS) (cloud computing), and
NVIDIA (AI technologies).

By exploring advancements in smart manufacturing, digital twins, and digital ecosystems, the delegation aims to stay ahead of trends in AI value chains and edge computing—laying a solid foundation for future industrial transformation and upgrades.

Throughout the exhibition, the “New Taipei Pavilion” has successfully drawn numerous international buyers and exhibitors for meaningful exchanges, resulting in various promising collaboration opportunities. This initiative provides a concrete channel for New Taipei enterprises to enter the European market. Looking ahead, New Taipei City will continue to promote smart industrial transformation and work toward building a world-class smart industry hub.
