International Super Stars from Taiwan and Hong Kong to Perform in "Super Star Christmas Concert" on December 14 and 15
A series of exciting weekend activities have been and will be arranged every weekend in "Christmasland in New Taipei City" since its opening in mid-November. Among them, the free "Super Star Christmas Concert" is always the most popular one, for which popular singers from home and abroad are invited to perform for the crowded audience!
The most exciting and luxurious lineup of this year's "Super Star Christmas Concert" will be performed during 18:00-22:00 on December 14 (Sat.) and December 15 (Sun.) at the New Taipei City Civic Plaza. Echoing "Magic", theme of this year, the performance stage is designed with not only AR technology, but also the "floating color screen," which will move up and down along with the melodies, as if it is playing magic. Color screens were only used indoors before. Thus, this will be the first time that people see a color screen in a large outdoor concert. So, come to enjoy the most amazing show!
The finale of the two-day concert will be performed by Taiwan’s Jam Hsiao, Best Male Mandarin Singer of the Golden Melody Awards, and G.E.M. (Get Everybody Moving) Gloria Tang Tsz-Kei from Hong Kong. The latter will even sing two pieces of her latest creation for the first time! In addition, many idol singers, outstanding singers, singer-songwriters and rappers will also take turns to perform on stage. The line-up is so strong that this event will reach the specifications for top-notch international concerts and will turn the Christmasland in New Taipei City into excitement for two days.
Starting from now until January 1, 2020, the "Christmasland in New Taipei City" will feature three lighting zones, each at the New Taipei City Civic Plaza, Banqiao Station Square and the Wanping Metropolitan Park respectively, which feature the 360-degree multi-layered 3D projection mapping show in an area of 8,800 square meters. Moreover, to highlight the upcoming MRT circular line, which will be open to the public at the yearend, the organizer and the artist teams will also exhibit a Macaron graffiti wall, a Christmas tree that combines the textile art with the light and shadow art, and romantic lighting arrangement around the Banqiao Station on the circular line. Indeed, this is an event that you must visit at least once in your lifetime!
