Call for Entries:The New Taipei Enterprise Classic Awards
New Taipei City stands as the industrial and commercial beacon for 300,000 enterprises, benefiting from an advanced, accessible transportation network and a diverse industrial landscape. These advantages prompt it as Taiwan’s paramount industrial and economic center and the preferred location for numerous global companies to expand and invest.
Notably, Google selected New Taipei for its most significant hardware R&D base outside the United States, further investing in a second facility within the Banqiao Far Eastern Telecom Park, alongside Microsoft, IKEA, and Mitsui Group establishing strong presences.
The New Taipei Enterprise Classic Awards fosters innovation, global vision, sustainability, and deep commitment to New Taipei’s advancement, spotlighting outstanding local enterprises. This year, expanding the award categories to include Innovation investment, Diverse service, Sustainable development, Generational heritage, and Universal international, particularly emphasizes attracting foreign enterprises through recommendations by international bodies or chambers of commerce to partake in the Innovation investment category.
Moreover, introducing the Outstanding female power category aims at propelling businesses toward sustainable development and fulfilling corporate social responsibilities.
This iteration aims to unearth internationally renowned enterprises, recognizing those that have rooted their operations in New Taipei, hence encouraging foreign enterprises to participate in the Innovation Investment category, seeking to attract more foreign investment and enhance Taiwan’s technological and industrial competitiveness.
The call for applications is open, welcoming outstanding New Taipei enterprises to register. Applications are accepted from January 30th to April 10th, available to legally registered New Taipei enterprises or factories with sound financial standing and no labor disputes or occupational accidents. Application forms in both Chinese and English can be accessed and downloaded from the New Taipei Enterprise Classic Award section on the New Taipei City Government Economic Development Department website (https://reurl.cc/Xq9Yn7).
