New Taipei City Takes Action! A Prime Opportunity for Companies to Recruit Global Talents
In response to the growing demand for skilled professionals, particularly in information and communications technology, smart machinery, and green energy biotechnology, the New Taipei City Government’s Economic Development Department is pleased to announce the “Global Talents Job Fair,” scheduled on September 20. This event is designed to provide companies with a valuable opportunity to connect with high-level foreign talents. With only 30 company slots available, companies are encouraged to take advantage of this chance to engage directly with prospective talents.

According to the Economic Development Department, with rapid technological advancements and the globalization of markets, hiring foreign talent with multilingual skills and cross-cultural backgrounds has become crucial for companies to expand their international markets and enhance global competitiveness.

Since 2023, New Taipei City has launched the "Enterprise-Foreign Talent Matching Platform" to create new opportunities for finding high-level industry talent. This platform has successfully matched companies such as C Sun Manufacturing Ltd., 金元三 Automobile, and other companies in the information, communications, and smart machinery sectors with high quality human resources from various educational institutions.

To align with New Taipei's diverse industry requirements, this year’s  focus is on international and foreign trade talents. An information session held on May 21 featured representatives from the National Development Council, Overseas Community Affairs Council, Ministry of Labor, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Economic Affairs, and the Immigration Agency, who provided valuable insights about hiring international talent. Several universities also participated, offering a matchmaking session to better understand the potential talent pool and accelerate industry-academic collaboration.

The "Global Talents Job Fair" on September 20 is expected to host 30 companies interested in expanding into ASEAN and Indian markets. With more than 100 foreign talents from Vietnam, the Philippines, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Thailand, and Taiwan’s foreign trade sector participating, the event aims to foster meaningful connections between companies and talent through one-on-one matchmaking, enhancing international capabilities, expanding international markets, and creating new business opportunities.

The "Global Talents Job Fair" will take place on September 20 at the 彭園新板館. Booth registration for companies is now open and slots are limited. We encourage interested parties to register promptly.
