The ninth edition of World Cup Taiwan football tournament will kick off during the Double-Tenth holidays weekend (October 8 –October 9) at Fu Jen Catholic University Stadium in New Taipei, with the participation of players from 12 countries around the world.
 
This annual football festival also features music, dance, and food stalls, which will create unforgettable memory to visitors with 34 nonstop games, cultural performances and exotic cultural feasts.
 
Co-hosted by Taiwan Digital Diplomacy Association(TDDA),Taiwan Football Development Association(TFDA),and Fernando Ramos, the annual football festival aims not only to promote soccer among Taiwanese and foreign community through sportsmanship and cultural exchange, but also to build Taiwan’s ties with the global community through sports diplomacy.
 
Echoing the theme of the tournament "One Sport, One world", New Taipei City Government Youth Department (NTCYD) shows great support to this big event." We believe that sports is one of the best ways to bring people together," Commissioner of NTCYD, Chien, Nien-Chun said.
