Children who live in New Taipei City will get a 50％ discount on the Taipei MRT
       New Taipei City Mayor Chu Liluan announced that the children aged 6 to 12 who live in New Taipei City, when they use EasyCards to ride the Taipei MRT will get a 50% discount in 2018. Mayor Chu said that the policy is according to the Protection of Children and Youths Welfare and Rights Act, children are entitled to lower fares, so we will discuss this with the Taoyuan and Kaohsiung MRT administration in the future.
