(II)As for 2009, apart from the continuation of the aforementioned policies, the Education Bureau has also published Taipei County’s White Paper for Education, which covers the three implementation focuses of successful learning, cultivating social citizenship and managing healthy families. Notable pioneering implementations for 2009 include:

5.Construction of a diversified culture program and an education website
6.Expansion of the Multilingual New Immigrant Website to include two more languages (Chinese, English, Japanese, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai, Burmese and Khmer)
7.Publication of the Multilingual New Immigrant Quarterly Newsletter in seven different languages (Chinese, English, Japanese, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai and Burmese)
8.Initiation of the New Immigrant Culture & Education Assistance Association
9.Implemented the Diverse Culture & Innovative Management evaluation and award giving ceremony for schools
10.Implemented the Summer Vocational Training Class for new immigrants
11.Created diversified cultural broadcasting and television programs for new immigrants
